Howry Residential Services

Howry Residential Services was born in 1999, when Mark and Susan Howry, then doing Adult Foster Care in Eagan, Minnesota decided to make a life change. Susan met with Adult Foster Care licensing at Dakota County offering up the Howry personal home as a group home if they County chose to use it. After a couple of days he enthusiastically said that there was interest in that happening. Both Mark and Susan quit their jobs and began to work towards the development of that house.

Susan, a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and Clinical Examiner, sought to develop community services for survivors of traumatic brain injures. Committed and driven, the development of these services was successful.

It has been six years and Howry Residential Services, Inc. (HRS) has grown to serve over 100 clients in four metro counties. We currently are contracted in Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey and Anoka counties.

HRS employs a team of professionals who work in tandem with the consumers. We all believe that systems drive supports and to that end we train our staff to feel empowered as such.
